In addition to the non-profit activities described in its projects/programs, CLEC offers fee-based services to support the sustainability of the CLEC in the following areas:

CLEC offers multi-session courses for those who wish to upgrade their substantive knowledge of law and related skills in the areas of labor law, land law, contract law, family law, criminal law, criminal procedure, legal analysis and alternative dispute resolution. Registration for these courses is announced in newspapers and on the CLEC website. Particular courses can be provided upon request from individuals or organization.

Free training courses are also provided to target communities and NGOs with grants from donors.

CLEC also provides legal consultations to interested organizations and individuals. For example, CLEC has provided extensive free consultation services to its target communities.  CLEC has also provided for-fee legal consultations to PACT Cambodia and Community Forestry International on their personnel policies and employee contracts.

CLEC’s legal consultancies have also included the legal analysis of existing Cambodian laws, proposing revisions to those laws based on strong legal arguments, and presenting CLEC’s conclusions and recommendations.
