Training on Dispute Resolution Mechanisms

From 19 to 21 April 2023, the Community Legal Education Center organized a training course on dispute resolution mechanisms in collaboration with the Cambodian Indigenous Youth Association (CIYA) and the Advocacy and Policy Institute (API). The judicial and non-judicial system at Mlup Svay Thom Restaurant, Stung Sen City, Kampong Thom Province, to 17 community advisers from communities in Pursat, Kampong Thom and Kratie provinces with 22 participants, 18 females.

Purpose:

Strengthen the knowledge and technical skills of dispute resolution mechanisms in the judiciary and outside the court to 17 paralegals to prevent and resolve disputes that arise in their communities.
Provide opportunities for all participants to participate and share experiences and knowledge related to preventing and resolving conflicts in their community.

Expectation:

Participants will gain basic knowledge and technical skills about dispute resolution mechanisms in the judiciary and out of court to prevent and resolve any issues in the community.
Participants can consult and disseminate dispute-resolution mechanisms to their communities and neighboring communities.
